f-Spectra - MacOS Version: Important remarks

This Spectroscopic Analysis Package for f-shell Ions was originally developed for Windows environment but it is now made as an application for MacOS machines by emebedding it with the Wine program in a container.

For installation of this package in a MacOS machine, simply decompress of the *.zip file and put the file called f-Spectra.app in the user's Application folder. You can find and run this program called f-Spectra in the "launchpad" of MacOS system.  Everything will look like that of a Windows environment but you cannot read nor write files in Excel format.

The default version of installation is dated 20/12/2024. You may download the newer version from the above links and replace the program file called f-Spectra.exe in the folder called f-Spectra under C:\Program Files (x86) after you open the Content of the f-Spectra.app.
